Τhe high level of the organization and the excellent quality of the products they found at the exhibition impressed the Hosted Buyers who participated in total in more than 17,000 b2b meetings with the exhibitors.
The aim of the initiative to attract and host international buyers of the FOOD EXPO exhibition was to contribute to the strengthening of the exports of Greek products and to enable Greek businesses to penetrate foreign markets. FOOD EXPO within a very short period of time managed to join the agenda of major international buyers from the Food and Beverage industry from all over the world and this resulted in FOOD EXPO 2023 achieving something unique and remarkable for a Greek exhibition, to gathered around 900 Hosted Buyers.
Hosted Buyers held during all three days of the exhibition approximately 17,500 b2b meetings with the exhibitors, either at the exhibitors’ stands – in this way, foreign buyers had the opportunity to come into direct contact with the exhibitors and their products- either at the b2b meeting rooms.
It is worth noting that the 900 hosted buyers of the program were selected with strict criteria, they are the decision makers – owners, general managers, import managers – and came from 83 major markets – targets from all over the world such as the United Arab Emirates, the USA, the China, India, Russia, Japan, Canada, Brazil, Lebanon, but also from European countries such as: Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Italy, Great Britain etc.
The international buyers spoke enthusiastically about their experience from FOOD EXPO, stating that they were impressed by the high level of the organization, by the excellent quality of Greek Food and Beverages and by the number of quality appointments who carried out and the important commercial agreements they closed.
