The whole wine universe on a special stage

Oenotelia travels us through the wonderful world of wine with unique speeches and tastings.

For 6th consecutive year, Oenotelia returns alongside FOOD EXPO, to be a common place for the entire wine industry. Producers, traders, importers, oenologists, sommeliers will meet again in the specially designed stage in Hall1.
Oenotelia 2020, besides the wide range of labels it has to present at its exhibitors’ booths, also includes an extremely interesting program of informative seminars, tips and new ideas. Specialist oenologists and sommeliers will play the role of guide in the wonderful wine world.

Specifically, in the specially designed stage there will be presentations which will be divided into the following thematic sections:

  • Natural Wines
  • The wine varieties of Crete and their modern expression
  • Marketing and promotion of wine at key points of sale
  • Reinforcement of cellar door in wineries
  • Introduction to wine tasting
  • Oenotourism in the World
  • Creation of a wine list
  • Equipment, storage and maintenance of wines
  • The profession of Sommelier

Tasting time

At the same time, from 11am until the end of the exhibition there will be a Wine Tasting Area where all the exhibitors of OENOTELIA will present their wines for free. Thus, the professional visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Greek vineyard, the indigenous varieties and the modern identity of the branded wines from Greece.

Representative wines from every wine region, from a wide range of varieties and from the entire price range will be available at the Wine Testing Area.
