The parallel organization of Oenotelia and FOOD EXPO has proved all these years that it results in significant collaborations and multiple commercial benefits for the exhibitors as well as the visitors.
Greek and international buyers who visited both exhibitions gained a comprehensive, overall picture of both the gastronomic and wine richness of Greece and the Mediterranean. Thus, they had the opportunity, in just one visit, to look for all the products they are interested in investing in and to set, with the exhibitors, the basis for new commercial agreements. Greek and international visitors will had the chance to meet with producers from all wine-growing regions and discover the unique qualities of the Greek vineyard, as well as its phenomenal indigenous varieties.
In particular, hospitality, mass catering, wholesale and organized retail professionals found everything related to wine and spirits among 190 exhibitors, with the aim of enriching the shelves of their businesses as well as the menus of their restaurants and their bars, with an updated list of wines, spirits, beer that will give a new dynamic to the business as well as new options for the customer-consumer.
For the wine-producing companies themselves, the parallel organization of the two exhibitions allowed them to come into contact with thousands of Greek professionals and thus their participation as exhibitors at Oenotelia proved to be a unique opportunity to expand their presence in the domestic market. At the same time, the small and medium-sized wineries and distilleries had the opportunity to significantly strengthen their extroversion, as Oenotelia exhibition attracted, within the framework of the Hosted Buyer program of the FOOD EXPO exhibition, more than 170 Wine Importers from important foreign markets – targets for the Greek wine and spirits
