We welcomed 1.000 Hosted Buyers & 2.500 int’l food traders

FOOD EXPO welcomed 3.500 international buyers, and for three days it was once again the most stable framework, so that the Greek products will continue to conquer the world.

One of the major goals of the organizing company is to provide exhibitors with all the necessary channels and opportunities to develop or increase the international orientation of their businesses and increase their export activity to as many markets of the world as possible. Thus, the trade show’s organizers, through a series of promotional activities, managed to attract 2.500 international buyers from target markets for the Greek Food & Beverages. Moreover, 1.000 food traders visited the trade show as Hosted Buyers.

Top market executives from around the world

It is significant to mention that the international buyers who visited the exhibition had the opportunity to participate at b2b meetings with the Greek and foreign exhibitors; to choose among the best in the market, increase their product variety, enrich their menus with Greek and Mediterranean quality products or to place on the shelves of their business unique products that will stimulate the interest of the consumer, who worldwide has a special appreciation and preference for Greek and Mediterranean food and drinks.

The 1,000 hosted buyers were selected using strict criteria and were owners or major executives in large supermarket chains and minimarkets, traditional groceries and delicatessens, mass catering venues, hotels: and also the owners or chefs in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine restaurants. It is worth noting that these international visitors came mainly from 80 major target markets for Greek and Mediterranean food and beverages such as the United Arab Emirates, the U.S.A., China, India, Japan, Canada, the United States, Brazil, but also several European states such as: Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, etc.
