OENOTELIA 2023, which took place alongside FOOD EXPO with 190 exhibitors and a wide range of wine and spirits labels, was once again highlighted as a key wine trade show!
Thousands of visitors visited Hall 1, where the booths of the OENOTELIA 2023 exhibitors have been set up, to get to know the wealth of Greek vineyards, the wines and spirits of the domestic wine production and to close profitable commercial deals. Tourism, catering, wholesale and organized retail professionals had the opportunity to find everything related to wine and spirits among 190 unique exhibitors. With Greek producers from all the regional units of Greece, OENOTELIA covered the majority of the Greek vineyard while also hosted exhibitors with a huge range of wine and spirits related equipment, bottling machinery, winemaking systems, packaging, wine labels and accessories, also products related to spirits.
International interest for the Greek wines
The number of international buyers selected to visit OENOTELIA through the Hosted Buyer program has also increased this year. More than 160 important wine buyers from foreign markets were present at the exhibition for three days and hold more than 2,500 b2b meetings with its exhibitors.
More than 400 labels at the Wine Tasting Area
The visitors of the exhibition also had the opportunity to get to know in depth the Greek vineyard, the native varieties and the modern identity of the branded wines from Greece through wine tastings that took place on all three days in the Wine Tasting Area of the exhibition. Specifically, representative wines from each wine region, from a wide range of varietals and across the price range were available for tasting, while visitors could obtained useful information about each of the wines to be sampled and had the opportunity to compare the organoleptic characteristics of more than 400 labels from all over Greece.
