With the aim of strengthening the food and beverage businesses operating within their territorial jurisdiction, 13 Regions, 14 Chambers and 3 Municipalities participated in FOOD EXPO 2024.
The specially designed booths of the Regions, Chambers and Municipalities hosted hundreds of local small and medium-sized businesses, which had the opportunity to display their products, highlight their production, improve their export profile and carry out business meetings and build new partnerships and agreements with companies and food traders from Greece and abroad.
Thus, FOOD EXPO 2024, as the leading exhibition event that showcases and highlights the products of Greece, once again welcomed businesses from 13 regions of Greece, namely: Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Central Greece, Ionian Islands, Western Greece, Peloponnese, Attica, North Aegean, South Aegean and Crete
Also, they were participating businesses from 14 Chambers namely: Kefallinia – Ιthaca, Achaia, Serres, Kastoria, Kozani, Florina, Karditsa, Larissa, Magnesia, Trikala, Etoloakarnania, Ilia but also from the Municipalities of Spata-Artemidos, Saronic Golf and Markopoulos – Mesogaias.
Finally, the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce also participated as an exhibitor.
Food and beverage businesses that operated within their territorial jurisdiction had the opportunity to present their products, under a common brand name, to a wide and specialized audience from all over Greece. Also, they had the opportunity to promote their business extroversion as approximately 1,000 Hosted buyers from 80 countries who came to the exhibition and will hold b2b meetings with its exhibitors.
