Profitable business contacts for exhibitors and visitors

The digital exhibition gave the opportunity to a significant number of food and beverage key buyers from all over the world, to discover products and services from leading brands in the industry from Greece and abroad.

Benefits were even higher for the exhibitors, who across the five days of FOOD EXPO Digital came into interactive and effective contact with Greek and foreign buyers, who had created their profile on the digital platform of the exhibition and held b2b meetings via video call or online chat.

Through its tailor made platform, Greek and foreign buyers made more than 1,500 video calls and 2,287 text chats with exhibitors.

The presence of so many important buyers enabled the exhibitors to promote their products directly and efficiently, directly trade, expand their client base and further develop their distribution network. It is also worth noting that exhibitors and visitors will continue to have access to the digital platform for another six months, although they will be not be able to arrange B2B meetings.

The success of the 1st FOOD EXPO Digital created the need to establish the digital exhibition as an additional service of the physical exhibition in the coming years. So, in 2022, in parallel with the physical exhibition (March 12-14), the digital platform will operate again and will bring Greek and foreign buyers, who will not be able to visit the trade show, in contact with the exhibitors.
