Visitors impressed with the number and the quality of exhibits!

The variety and quality of the stands, the rich special events and the high level of the organization earned the best reviews of the visitors, the overwhelming majority of whom were thrilled with FOOD EXPO 2019.

The overwhelming majority of professionals from businesses of the Food and Beverages industry, who visited FOOD EXPO 2019, expressed their satisfaction both for being able to discover under the same roof a huge range of quality products from 1,300 Greeks and foreign exhibitors, but also for having achieved within just three days a number of important appointments that led to the conclusion of trade agreements.

Based on the barcode invitations, compared to the previous event, there has been a major increase in the number of major food traders who arrived from every corner of Greece and from 83 countries from all over the word, who didn’t hesitate to put the exhibition in the same level as world class shows such as Sial and Anuga. Also, many of them stated that they found everything they were looking for, even products that had been looking for for a long time in many exhibitions in Greece and abroad, and that they discovered a lot of traditional Greek and Mediterranean food and drinks, and many original and innovative foods and drinks. Naturally, all this will enable them to enhance their products and services. Finally, the special events brought together a variety of stakeholders, and the specially designed halls where the seminars and lectures took place were packed most of the time.

Impressive satisfaction rates

According to an ALCO survey, the majority of the visitors that attended FOOD EXPO 2019 were fascinated by the show’s exhibitors and exhibits. It is significant that as reported by the survey, 95% of the visitors expressed their satisfaction with FOOD EXPO 2019, a fact that confirms its reputation as the main platform for the food industry interested in Greek and Mediterranean products and specialty foods, in general. Furthermore, 97% of international visitors voiced their intent to attend the next iteration of FOOD EXPO.

Another significant point made by the visitors of the fair were the opportunities to establish fruitful commercial relations. According to the survey, 33% of the visitors of the trade show confirmed they closed deals with Greek and international exhibitors during the fair, while 88% expected to finalize deals within the next six months after the end of the trade show.

The survey was conducted by the well-known ALCO survey company on a sample of 600 Greek decision makers as a whole, who either had or planned to open a new business related to the Food & Beverage industry. It was conducted during the three days of the exhibition, in the form of personal interviews, while the Greek professionals who participated came from the whole country (Attica and North, South Central & Island Greece).
