230 exhibitors at Oenotelia

With an eye towards both the Greek and international markets, 230 wine -producing and -marketing enterprises will be there at their own “fiesta”.

Together with the 7th FOOD EXPO comes the 6th Oenotelia, to give the opportunity to the wine-producing enterprises of our country, to come into contact with and promote their products to business owners and executives from the organized retail market and the catering industry. Oenotelia 2020 is expected to host 230 exhibitors in a total exhibition area of 2,700 square meters and is estimated to attract 30,000 visitors. It is worth noting that 20 foreign exhibitors will participate as well. Equally important is the presence of 160 wine importers, who will be secured by the organizer through the Hosted Buyer program of the exhibition, who will make 2,300 scheduled B2B meetings, thus sharply increasing the possibilities for successful business deals. This means that the industry’s professionals will have the opportunity, in addition to becoming the suppliers of domestic enterprises, to also export Greek wines to international markets. It is worth noting that these buyers, will come from countries such as the U.S.A., Germany, Russia, China, Canada and others, which are important for exports of Greek wines and spirits.

The Greek Wine Federation, the most important institutional body of the Wine Industry, recognizing the great commercial effectiveness and international potential that OENOTELIA already has, once again organizes the exhibition under its auspices, actively supports it and invites its members to participate as exhibitors at OENOTELIA 2020.

Targeted seminars and rich parallel events

Throughout the exhibition, seminars will be hosted in a specially designed hall aimed exclusively at hospitality, catering and retail professionals, with well-established oenologists and experienced sommeliers as speakers and aiming at a deeper education and update on the current trends around the wine industry. The specialized oenologists and sommeliers through a comprehensive program will provide the attendees with useful advice, knowledge and ideas for developing and improving their businesses. At the same time, the professional visitors of the OENOTELIA 2020 exhibition will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Greek vineyard, the indigenous varieties and the modern identity of the Greek wine brands, through the tastings performed at the Wine Tasting Area of the exhibition, the specially designed Tasting Square.

Finally, an important fact that highlights the superiority and quality of the OENOTELIA event is the visitors’ high satisfaction level. It is worth noting that 70% of the visitors of the exhibition were satisfied with the variety and quality of the wines they found in the exhibition, while 96% of the visitors considered that its parallel hosting with FOOD EXPO was particularly important.
