The second day of FOOD EXPO 2019 came to a fruitful, for all interested parties, conclusion. The trade show’s 1,300 exhibitors had the chance to attend hundreds of meetings with quality Greek and international buyers, while many of them already signed trade deals. Visitor impressions are also very positive, as many key food traders express their satisfaction over the size and scope of the fair, as well as over the variety and innovative aspects of the items on display, while pointing out that FOOD EXPO could compete on equal terms with international trade shows, such Sial and Anuga.

Finally, another highly successful synergy was the “Greek Breakfast”, an initiative organized by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH). Visitors were able to taste authentic Greek products in the project’s specially-designed stand, supplied by a large number of producers from different regions of Greece.
