In this framework, during the 6th FOOD EXPO, more than 17,500 B2B meetings will take place between exhibitors and traders from all around the world.
Greek and Mediterranean foods, a magnet for international food traders
With the Mediterranean Diet and Greek food on the rise for several years now, and the global specialty food market likely to grow at a CAGR of over 5% during the 2017-2021 period, it seems that FOOD EXPO is totally in line with the needs and expectations of food traders all across the globe.
In addition, Greece is a country steeped in exceptional history, tradition, and culture. It is a land with temperate climate, fertile soils, and plenty of sunshine, all of which ensure excellent growing conditions for fine products of high culinary and nutritional value. These major buyers (approximately 900) that will be part of the show’s Hosted Buyer Program will be selected according to strict criteria and will come from 75 target markets all around the world, such as the UAE, the US, China, India, Russia, Japan, Canada, Brazil, Austria, Denmark, Italy, Germany, France, the UK, etc.
