The great dynamics of FOOD EXPO as a major exhibition event that promotes and highlights the products of Greece, was confirmed by the participation of 388 important companies that participated with Greece’s Regions, Municipalities & Chambers in the digital exhibition.
The local and commercial organizations in Greece strongly supported the exhibition with their digital presence, which contributed positively to the market’s recovery process but also supported, strengthened and further improved the competitiveness of their businesses.
Specifically, FOOD EXPO 2021 welcomed as exhibitors in the digital exhibition 334 companies from 10 Regions (South Aegean, North Aegean, Central Greece, Crete, Attica, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia, Peloponnese, Epirus and Ionian Islands) 22 companies from 3 Municipalities (Kropia, Markopoulo Mesogaias, Saronikos) and 32 companies from 5 Chambers (Laconia, Larissa, Magnesia, Trikala, Halkidiki).
FOOD EXPO Digital gave the opportunity to food and beverage companies from every corner of the country to promote their products to thousands of Greek and international buyers, through the digital platform, to improve their export potential and to hold one-on-one meetings with buyers from Greece and abroad, via video call or online chat.
Gastronomic presentations at FOOD EXPO Debates
During the FOOD EXPO Debates, Greek traditional products from 4 Regions (Attica, North Aegean, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia) and the Chamber of Halkidiki were highlighted through five interesting gastronomic shows.
Distinguished chefs created unique dishes for five days and gave the opportunity to f&b professional visitors from Greece and abroad to discover unique ways to use all these products to upgrade the final product of their catering businesses and the menu of their restaurants.
